Richard Love, Chairman / Chief Executive Officer is a co-founder of AP Technology and has been responsible for setting the company vision and technical direction. His executive and engineering leadership has pioneered industry-first technologies for MICR laser check printing, as well as secure financial data conversion and unattended web transmission. Prior to founding AP Technology, Mr. Love co-founded Torrey Pines Research with Bill Hanson, and from 1986 - 1998 served as COO and Executive Vice President for Technology. Torrey Pines Research is a leading engineering development firm with a specialization in the design of laser printers and custom print solutions. His experience also includes being the Technical Manager of Development for the current U.S. government MICR printing systems (at Troy Systems, 1984-1985). He has a long history of designing hardware and software solutions, including personal computers (Eagle Computer, 1982-1984), and other leading-edge designs for IBM, HP, North American Rockwell, Texas Instruments, Xerox, and Adobe, among others. Mr. Love has been awarded three patents and has two pending patents.
Anita Hill, Chief Financial Officer, has over twenty-five years of experience in corporate financial management. Prior to AP Technology, she was the Vice President of Finance for DIG MEDIA, and before this, Vice President & Controller of COMPS.COM and Vice President of Finance for ZD Market Intelligence. Anita's expertise includes all aspects of financial reporting and management, including IPO-related investor relations, fundraising, M&A activity and human resource functions.
Joe Briski, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, oversees development and marketing for AP Technology's customer software and web service solutions. These solutions connect banks and businesses by automating data normalization and transmission for multiple bank specifications and formats. He has played an important role in improving the user experience and product functionality within the AP Technology software and web service lines for both the banking and customer solutions.
John Cipriano, Senior Vice President of Financial Services, has over 33 years of banking experience in developing and delivering cash management solutions for the commercial market. He has extensive experience in the areas of payments, payment risk, and optimizing bank products and services for businesses. Mr. Cipriano has provided consulting expertise on projects for quantifying and delivering Check 21 benefits to banks across the country. His experience includes over 25 years working with Regional and Money Center Banks in Cash Management Sales and Product Development as well as holding senior positions in commercial banks. In addition, Mr. Cipriano spent 5 years at Visa U.S.A., as the National Sales Manager for private sector ACH processing. Mr. Cipriano has served as a board member and an active participant for key industry trade groups such as WesPay, NACHA and BAI. He regularly speaks for various trade groups, including the AFP, BAI, NACHA and regional trade association meetings.
Donovan Perkins, Senior Vice President of Business Development, works with the nation's leading banks on implementing financial data exchange and unattended web transmission solutions designed to prevent fraud and improve the connection between banks and their commercial customers.
Mr. Perkins was the founder and President of United Systems Company, a hardware/software storage system development and integration firm supporting customers such as IBM, DEC, Disney Productions, Boeing and major industrial distributors. Additionally, Mr. Perkins has held executive sales and management positions with ANDATACO, Summit Healthcare and Control Data Corporation.
Pat Griffin, Vice President Engineering, leads the development of AP Technology solutions. Prior to AP Technology, Pat worked for Hewlett Packard on their LaserJet printers and solutions. His strengths have helped AP Technology create solutions that enhance the security and automation of bank communications and compliance with emerging bank standards.

William Hanson, Director, is co-founder of Torrey Pines Research and has over 30 years of experience in the conceptualization, design and development of non-impact printing and electronic imaging systems. He built and managed several engineering departments and product development teams and has held full responsibility for the development and success of more than 20 products. He served 14 years at Xerox Corporation in research and development of advanced printing technologies. Mr. Hanson holds numerous patents related to electrophotographic marking processes, with several additional patents pending. He earned a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Frank Kocsis, Director, has a long-standing career in banking and accounting at Union Bank and Coopers & Lybrand. Frank is a co-founder and Vice President of CommTech International (Venture Firm). Frank received an MBA from University of Southern California.
Gerald Marxman, Director, is co-founder and former President of CommTech International. Prior to joining Commtech, he was Division Director for SRI International. Mr. Marxman received his Ph.D. from California Institute of Technology & B.S./M.S. from Case Institute of Technology.
