Coincides with Upgrade Release of SecureCheck nX2 Software; Includes Technology that Enables Linking Between SecureCheck & Positive Pay Software for Automatic Check Issue File Transfers to Banks
AcuPrint Technology, an industry leader in secure payment transaction solutions, announced that its MICR laser check printing platform, SecureCheck nX2, was named a "Top 100 of 2003" product by Accounting Today magazine. This marks the second year the SecureCheck product is on the list.
Concurrent of the announcement, the upgrade of SecureCheck nX2 4.0 was released. Highlighting the release, the SecureCheck nX2 product contains the proprietary technology A-Link. A-Link enables the SecureCheck nX2 product and SecurePay, AcuPrint Technology's client-side positive pay solution, to communicate with each other. Checks are printed using the SecureCheck nX2 software and an audit file of the checks printed is stored on the memory chip (DIMM) within the printer. SecurePay, via the A-Link technology, is able to automatically query the printer for the check issue file, convert it to the bank's required format, encrypt and transmit the resulting positive pay file to the bank.
A-Link is unique to AcuPrint Technology and is the first check printing and positive pay solution that can operate automatically and without user intervention. The automating of check issuing and positive pay file transmission provides the user a fail-safe notification process and the assurance that all necessary check data is provided to their bank quickly and securely. Automatically expediting the file transfer insures the user the best defense against check fraud.
