fDExchange provides your institution with robust file conversion capabilities. The fDExchange server is a conversion and transmission HUB that can be configured to accept and transmit files to and from any number of sources based on a schedule or real-time request. Transitioned files are converted from any file format to another to meet your institution’s unique payments and reporting requirements.
The exchange HUB is accessed by administrators and endusers from a user-friendly, customized web-based interface.
As required, system requests can occur in an unattended mode, with file transfers and conversions scheduled based on date/time or file availability.
Supports bisynchronous, asynchronous protocols: X-Modem and Z-Modem, FTP, HTTPS, email.
Clients or third party data processors can be informed when files are processed, missing, have errors, or need escalation. Deliver pdfs, emails, files, pager notices or faxes based on rules and/or schedules.
As required, the system file can send "batches" of data files based on batch numbering of individual data files.
As required, files can be divided into sub-files.
Before processing, the system can determine if a file meets specified parameters.
Email notifications can be sent regarding file and system activity. Return responses (i.e. a file, report, or email notification) can based on an input file. Email Alerts can be based on file data (e.g. a hot list of non-acceptable transactions).
All system activity is tracked in a detailed system event log.
As required, the exchange HUB is capable of producing custom reports from file and system data.
All data is secured from human intervention or access. Most files are electronically destroyed immediately after processing. CryptoVault advanced encryption technology is optional.
User permissions are controlled in a special security module and can be user- or group-specific for every function, to assure safe control of work and information.
