SecureCheck-RCP will send email notifications to remote locations when checks are available for download and printing. Remote check printing can streamline processes and create significant savings on processing and express delivery costs for organizations that regularly distribute checks to remote, non-networked locations.
The system can be set to send check-availability notifications on a scheduled basis to remote locations or send notifications every time check data is sent to the server by the accounting application.
Start saving by eliminating the need to order pre-printed check stock. SecureCheck-RCP uses blank stock that is devoid of all security information except the stock's embedded security features.
SecureCheck-RCP is designed to hold an unlimited number of different checking accounts. The system administrator can easily and securely make modifications to check layout information, such checking account numbers and MICR lines, bank names and addresses, and company names and addresses.
Logos and signatures are scanned, encrypted, and stored at the PCC host in the check layout file/s. To change a check signature or logo, you simply import and attach the new signature or logo graphic to the check layout file.
A signature logic feature allows the user to define how many signatures (one, two or no signatures) are printed on the check based upon the check's dollar amount. Each checking account can have its own logic pattern.
Copies of an original check can be printed with automatic signatures removed and the words "non-negotiable" in place of the MICR line.
With SecureCheck-RCP, check data is encrypted as it crosses the internet to your remote sites. For a remote location to access check data, they must provide the correct username and password, and if the implementation uses web services, they are also required to have client software installed on their system. This high-level of security is further tightened by locking down access to the RCP system at the level of your network firewall.
Each time the SecureCheck-RCP system is accessed, the event log records the username, date, time, login, and the event, for future assessment by the Administrator.
SecureCheck-RCP provides 11 auditable fields (payee, amount, account, check date, check number, zip, +5 additional audit fields of your choice) to offer the strongest audit capacity and security available. The PC-based audit can be reviewed at any time from the secure Printing Control Center by the administrator or those with audit-level security permissions.
The following security features can be added to your printed checks for greater fraud protection:
Security Watermark
A watermark containing the payee name and amount can be printed across the face of your checks. Settings for line spacing, pitch, and grayscale allow you to make the watermark unique to your organization.
Security Fonts
Reverse and Micro fonts can be used to print the check amount in a second location on your checks.
Workflow email notifications are configured to allow specified recipients to stay informed of and approve various check printing activities. These can include notifications to approve check runs prior to printing, notifications when checks are printed at a specific location, or warnings for events that require administrator attention.
Six levels of security permissions can be assigned in any combination for users (administrator, audit, overlay setup, manual check, print check, overlay printing). Double login requirements can also be assigned for added security.
See Optional Features.
Depending on your organization's requirements, you may choose to enable optional features within SecureCheck-RCP for even greater printing functionality and security.
